Sunday School

Each Sunday morning, youth students gather in the Youth Loft Sunday School. Sunday School is a time for our youth to study the Scriptures in a variety of ways. We discuss the Bible in small group settings, we watch videos that illustrate the Scriptures, and we incorporate activities and crafts. We understand that students learn in many different ways, so our Sunday School is geared to reach students with the Bible however it is that they learn!

Sunday School begins at 9:45 am on Sunday mornings and ends at 10:45 am before our 11 am worship services.

Beyond FSFUMC // Spring Break, Mission Trips, Conference Events

We believe that Christ compels our youth group to go beyond the walls of FSFUMC to share his love, serve others, and join in passionate worship. Throughout the year we offer many opportunities for students to attend mission trips, spiritual retreats, and worship conferences.

Confirmation is a time where students are given the opportunity to grow in faith together with a mentor and ultimately confirm their own faith before God and their church community. First Methodist offers Confirmation sessions each school year for 6th graders in the spring. Registration is required for Confirmation, so contact Michael for more details!
