Pray like Jesus: Rediscovering the Lord’s Prayer by Don Underwood
Prayer is the most dynamic discipline in the life of a believer. Yet it may be the most misunderstood and the least taught. This Bible study shows believers that following Jesus’ Model Prayer will lead them to fall more in love with God and grow in their desire to engage in conversation with Him. In this study, you’ll see the significance of starting your prayers by acknowledging God as Father. You’ll learn what it means for His name to be recognized as holy, discover what you’re asking God to do when you pray for His kingdom to come and His will to be done as well as seeing what Jesus meant when He told us to ask God for daily bread.

Making Sense of the Bible – led Rev. Dr. Bud Reeves Room M201

Denominations from evangelical to mainline continue to experience deep divisions over universal social issues. The underlying debate isn’t about a particular social issue, but instead it is about how we understand the nature of scripture and how we should interpret it. The world’s bestselling, most-read, and most-loved book is also one of the most confusing. In Making Sense of the Bible, Adam Hamilton, one of the country’s leading pastors and Christian authors, addresses the hot-button issues that plague the church and cultural debate, and answers many of the questions frequently asked by Christians and non-Christians alike.

Youth: The Absolute Essentials with Michael Mings – Youth Loft

We all desire to be a part of something. We all want to thrive and to see others thriving. We all want to make a positive impact on the world. What if all of these things are God’s plan for His Church?

This semester for our youth Wednesday Night Life study, we’ll be learning all about God’s intentions for the community of believers.  In our discussions, we’ll be asking some impactful questions: What’s so special about the church? What is our calling? How do we get there? What does it mean to be a church member, and how do I find my role in all of this?

All youth and parents are welcome to come and be a part of the conversation! Together, let’s experience the impact of a Church on fire for God!
